Introducing Me

I've always gravitated towards writing. It's something that has been apart of my life since I started school. I fell in love with it in second grade when my teacher let us "publish" stories for our classroom library. I would write multiple a day for the joy of it. Now, eight years later, I still enjoy writing. 

I've moved from place to place. Making friends as I go and losing some as well. It's difficult. Especially when you're younger and can't transport yourself wherever you wish. I have three siblings- Savana, Joey and Hailey. Although life has thrown many optisticals at us, we all manage to stick together. 

I'm in my second year of high school. By now you would think I got the hang out it...but I don't. With the current global pandemic it feels like the beginning of middle school all over again. It's a new thing to all of us. Aside from school, I am also busy dancing and working.

I've always loved dance. I took dance lessons in Kindergarten and first grade, later quitting because I couldn't slide on my knees. I was a perfectionist. Anything I couldn't do right I wouldn't do at all. I continued to dance around the house and in my bedroom.  My freshman year of high school, I joined the dance team. It was one of my best decisions. I made many friends, memories and learned a lot about myself that year. During a normal school year, I would still be dancing. 

I work at a little bakery on the weekends. Aside from smelling like a loaf of bread by the end of the day, I love it. I get to help people, stay busy and free pastries are always a bonus! Although I love working there, I don't think it's a lifelong job of mine. My list of possible life long jobs is constantly growing and shrinking. We will just have to wait and see. 

I write in hope of helping others. Life is never going to be easy, but nothing's impossible.
